Humber Street closure extended – but shops and bars remain…

The temporary road closure on Humber Street is set to continue into May. Construction work on the new Wykeland @TheDock tech campus began at the start of the year, with the road closure initially coming into place on January 23. The project has seen the road closed between 10am and 3pm from Monday to Friday throughout the year. Though there was an original estimate of 12 weeks for completion, it has been announced that the works will now be finalised by Saturday, May 13. While the announcement of a completion date will feel like a victory for many of Hull’s road users, in the meantime a number of bus services will be affected.
