Residents have been left with divided opinions over what has been described as a 'huge' car meet at a Willerby supermarket car park last night. The meet at the Willerby Waitrose involved the local KANS group and car enthusiasts from other areas were invited. Humberside Police were present to help ensure the safety of the event and the KANS group actively marshal participants to help promote a safe and positive environment. Despite this, some local residents have expressed their anger at what they describe as noisy, anti-social behaviour. Humberside Police officers and KANS marshalls were in attendance to ensure the safety of participants and the public One resident told Hull Live: “I went to do my my weekly shop at Waitrose and I like to go in the evening when it is quiet as I suffer from really bad anxiety. “When I left the store the car park was packed with thousands of boy and girl racers, I had to get past many people with my trolley and getting to my car was difficult because it was surrounded by crowds of people. “When I finally got in my car and started to leave I had to manoeuvre through a huge crowd of people, at the exit of the car park I was stopped by a group of lads with a sign saying 'burn out'. “They wouldn’t let me move and in the end I had to rev my engine and everyone laughed at me I felt humiliated. “The sound of the car park was ridiculous with loud pops and bangs which sounded like fireworks, people playing really loud music,
