A woman had her fingers broken during an alleged robbery at Hull Paragon Station. British Transport Police have issued an appeal to find a man they believe may be able to help them with their investigations. The alleged robbery took place on December 21, when the woman was sat in the waiting room at the interchange where she was approached by a man. For the latest crime news and headlines, click here. After initially trying to befriend the woman, the man is alleged to have tried to snatch her bag, pulling on it so hard that the handle snapped. The woman suffered two broken fingers as a result of the attack, officers believe that the man pictured may be able to help them with their enquiries. A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: “Do you recognise this man? “Officers investigating an attempted robbery at Hull Paragon Interchange are today releasing this image in connection. “At just before midday on Tuesday, December 21, the victim was sat in the station’s waiting room when a man approached and tried to befriend her. “He then attempted to snatch her bag, pulling so hard that its handle ripped. “The victim suffered two broken fingers from the incident. &q
