A motorist who parked in Hull’s Princes Quay shopping centre car park for just 17 minutes says he was charged £3 for the stay. Andy Ward took to Facebook to vent his anger at the “disgraceful” fee he was asked to pay. He said: “£3 to park in Princes Quay for 17 minutes! That’s disgraceful”, adding two angry face emojis. He posted a picture on the Hull Traffic and Travel page showing his start time of 1.05pm and latest departure time of 1.21pm. The duration of his stay was noted as 17 minutes and amount due, £3.
