Live as crash closes Boothferry Road near Humber Bridge
Police are warning motorists to expect delays this evening after a crash has closed a busy road in Hessle. Boothferry Road is closed between Swanland Road and the Humber Bridge. Humberside Police has confirmed emergency services are in attendance. People are being asked to “please avoid the area where possible”. Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: “A1105 Boothferry Road in both directions is closed. There is heavy traffic due to an accident from Swanland Road to A15 (Humberfield Roundabout).” Follow our live blog below for updates on the closure.
