Live as traffic ‘gridlocked’ in Sutton Fields after bridge closure

The cause of the gridlocked traffic has been put down to the closure of Chapman Street Bridge for three days. One driver says it took her an extra hour to get to work and that she had “no idea” about the bridge closure. “Moving around this city can be a joke so much lost time stuck in traffic”, said another driver on the Hull Live Facebook Traffic and Travel page. Another said: “Sutton road is gridlock” and that the gridlock is going back to North Point. “Holwell Road is at a stand still, it's usually empty by now”, commented another.
