Live as traffic lights ‘randomly switch between colours’ causing miles of tailbacks in Hull

A bizarre traffic light failure is causing chaos on the roads in east Hull and the city centre. Travel system Inrix says drivers are in bumper-to-bumper queues tailing back to the city centre due to the issue in Hedon Road at Marfleet Avenue. It says the traffic lights are “switching between colours randomly” and says it is causing delays eastbound back towards the Hull city centre. “Queueing traffic due to traffic light failure on A1033 Hedon Road at Marfleet Avenue (Marfleet roundabout),” it says. “The lights are currently switching between colours randomly.
