Welton Road is closed this morning after a two-car crash in Brough. Witnesses reported seeing that there had been a “big accident” at the roundabout junction with Myrtle Way and Moor Road on Monday morning. Traffic is reportedly being diverted away from the closure via The Oval, a residential street nearby. One woman said it had been a “big accident”, with “several fire engines and police” at the scene. A spokeswoman for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said they had sent three crews and the rescue unit after being called by police at 10.23am on December 21.
