The conflict in Ukraine has continued to intensify overnight with the country's second largest city under siege and Russian paratroopers deployed. Kharkiv is Ukraine's second most populous city and is just 30 miles from the border with Russia with most of the population being native Russian speakers. There are reports that a rocket attack has struck the building of the regional police department and part of the University, at least 21 people have been killed and 112 wounded in shelling, according to the city's mayor. In Hull and East Yorkshire, it is relatively quiet on the roads this morning with some delays on Holwell Road heading southbound approaching Leads Road. On the A63 we once again have slow moving traffic between Brighton Street and the Mytongate roundabout.
