Live updates as crash blocks Sutton Road in both directions

A major road in Hull is blocked after an accident with three ambulances at the scene. There is currently heavy traffic along Sutton Road following a crash at the junction with Leads Road at around 11.40am today (December 26). The road is currently partially blocked with emergency services on the scene dealing with the accident. Pictures sent in to Hull Live show at least three ambulances at the scene with passersby saying that the crossing is “a bad spot”. Traffic management system Inrix says: “Sutton Road in both directions partially blocked, heavy traffic due to accident at B12373 Leads Road.” It is unclear how many vehicles have been involved in the accident or how long it will take for emergency services to clear the road.
