Live updates as crashes in Calvert Lane and Holderness Road cause serious delays

“Significant delays” are being reported after crashes in Holderness Road and Calvert Lane. East Yorkshire buses is currently warning of delays to services around Hull after the crashes, with traffic also being turned around in Calvert Lane. The accidents have happened in Calvert Lane outside the fire station, and Holderness Road near to Mount Retail Park. The bus company has said in a tweet: “There are significant delays on Service 75, 76, 240, 50, 56, 57 & 277 because of an accident on Holderness Road near the Mount retail park. “We are seeing delays on Service 63, 925, 926 & 931 because of an accident along Calvert Lane.” One person on Hull Traffic & Travel Facebook group has warned other drivers that they have been “turn around” because of the Calvert Lane crash.
