Live updates as drivers trapped in traffic chaos with miles of tailbacks from A63 in Hull

The lorry has broke down on the westbound section of the A63, close to the marina, which is causing tailbacks on the dual carriageway. According to reports that cars are bumper to bumper from the marina area of the city all the way back to Marfleet on Hedon Road. One motorist posted on Facebook: “A broken down lorry at the marina is causing tailbacks on the A63 all the way to the prison roundabout.” Traffic management system INRIX says travel time is four minutes from Castle Street and seven minutes from Ferensway.
