A major Kingswood road has been closed inbound following a “serious” crash. Raich Carter Way has been closed inbound towards the Beverley Road junction due to a “serious” crash. Heavy delays are expected for the time being until the emergency services clear the area. Travel system Inrix says there is queueing traffic due to the accident at the Roebank Roundabout. It says: “A1033 Raich Carter Way closed, queueing traffic due to accident at John Newton Way (Roebank Roundabout). On the roundabout. Near Kingswood shopping centre.” Bus company Stagecoach tweeted: “#Hull Raich Carter Way has been closed inbound to Beverley Rd due to a serious RTC, Ser 5 & 6 are diverting via Thomas Clarkson Way & Sutton Rd to regain normal routes, heavy delays are expected for the time being until the emergency services clear the area.” Posting in the Hull Traffic and Travel Facebook group, one wrote: “Heavy traffic near Kingswood roundabout there’s been a crash.” Another said there had been a “four car pile up”.
