‘Living nightmare’ for husband of A63 crash victim Alison Clark as he releases details of her funeral

The funeral for a mum tragically killed in a crash on the A63 near Melton is to take place next week. A white BMW, carrying pals Sam Connors, Willy Hart and Lawrence James, collided with 43-year-old Alison Clark's Peugeot on Monday, November 22, on the A63 westbound carriageway near Melton. Her spouse, Rob Clark, has shared the details of the funeral service on social media for those who may wish to attend. Alison Clark, pictured with husband Rob and their daughter Emily, died in a crash on the A63 While seating inside the Elloughton Church will be prioritised for family and friends, members of the community are also welcome to pay their respects. Rob Clark said of the funeral arrangements in a social media post on December 3: “To all those in our community who wish to join us in a celebration of life and pay respect to my beloved wife, Ali Clark, you are very welcome. “There will be a service at St. Mary's church on Tuesday, December 7 at 1.30pm. “We are aware that lots of people want to attend. A wonderful tribute in itself. “We ask all those I have not emailed directly to wait until close family and friends are seated. After this, please do take any and all available space. There will likely be more people than seats. “In this event, Triton Inn has kindly made available an outdoor sound system which we anticipate will be directly connected to the church microphones. Alison Clark, pictured with husband Rob, who described her as a 'warrior' who always looked after others “Sadly, we cannot provide outdoor cover, and the weather forecast is currently for light rain. Therefore, it would be advisable to bring an umbrella and multiple layers. “If anybody who wishes to attend cannot stand or otherwise wishes to ensure they can come into the church, please immediately contact me via Facebook Messenger.” People intending to go to the funeral are asked not to bring flowers, but donations to FESA (Friends of Elloughton School Association) may be sent or left at the service. A book to record people's memories of Alison will also be available. The funeral dress code is to be “colourful”. Rob Clark also thanked members of the local community for their response to his wife's tragic death, saying: “I just want again to thank the local community. It is a living nightmare. “But, the outpouring of love, which has taken the form of neighbours bringing soup around, countless messages, walks on Peggy Farrow, fundraisers for Ali's memorial garden. Dalton Dash becoming Ali Clark's Memorial Race to name a few. “Now, we have volunteers helping on Tuesday and local businesses supplying equipment to help.
