Hundreds of car lovers could descend on Hull next weekend for a planned car meet that has piqued the interest of more than 1,500 people on Facebook. Over 300 people have now responded to the event page, titled 'Car Clubs Unite – Hull Takeover Part 1', by saying they will be “going” to the event, with over 1,200 others saying they are “interested” in attending. Organisers have said the precise location will not be announced until half an hour before the 8pm scheduled start time on Saturday, April 24. The description of the event reads: “Location will be found here and in the discussion 30 minutes before the event starts, we advise anyone attending to be in Hull at that time.
