Long traffic delays as lorry and car crash on Hedon…
Motorists are reporting long traffic queues, after a car and lorry were in collision on Hedon Road. The crash appears to have happened on Southcoates roundabout, which is next to Hull Prison. Emergency services are currently at the scene and traffic is being diverted away from the roundabout. Humberside Police, Humberside Fire and Rescue and Yorkshire Ambulance Service were reportedly called out to assist. Drivers are still reporting heavy traffic on both carriageways of Hedon Road. AA Traffic reports that the westbound carriageway is particularly bad with 'severe delays' of at least 12 minutes.
