Police have issued a travel warning for drivers on the M62 after responding to “many” collisions in the snow on Thursday. Several inches of snow have fallen across Yorkshire this morning, January 14. Although Hull and East Yorkshire have largely escaped the worst of the wintry weather, those travelling to and from the city could face considerable disruption because of the conditions.
