Major Anlaby roundabout to close for five evenings
A week-long improvement project is set to begin later this month at a major roundabout in Anlaby. The B1231 Springfield Way roundabout, near St Mark's Church, will close each evening for five days, weather permitting, while the work takes place. The first closure is scheduled for Monday, November 25 from 6pm to 11pm and work will continue each weeknight between the same times. A signed diversion will be put in place to guide traffic via the B1231 Springfield Way, A1105 Boothferry Road, and B1232 Beverley Road. East Riding of Yorkshire Council is investing £110,000 in the project which will involve resurfacing the road around the roundabout as well as sections of the approach roads on the west side. The council's road maintenance team will carry out the resurfacing works as part of its planned programme of road improvements.
