Major Beverley route to temporarily reopen over Christmas
A major Beverley road will reopen over the festive period as work takes a break on the £86.9m Jock's Lodge improvement scheme. The westbound A164 Lincoln Way/Minster Way between Victoria/ Morrisons roundabout and the Ward Way roundabout will be temporarily open to traffic from 6am on Thursday, December 19 until 6am on Monday, January 6. A spokesperson for East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) told the BBC the restrictions will be removed “while our project team takes a festive break”, adding the area around Minster Way and Lincoln Way “will be left in a safe condition before the Christmas shut down”.
