Major road improvement works to begin in East Riding of Yorkshire next week

Major road improvement works costing more than £100,000 are due to begin in the East Riding of Yorkshire next week. East Riding of Yorkshire Council will carry out resurfacing work costing £115,000 on the B1249 road between Beeford and Skipsea. The work is due to start on Tuesday, August 16. The scheme is expected to take a total of nine days to complete, with work being carried out on weekdays and the road will be closed to through-traffic during the scheme due to its narrow width. This is to keep road staff and vehicles safe.
