A man sustained life-threatening injuries in a Boxing Day car crash near Pocklington, police said today. It was reported a black Audi A3 crashed into a building at 11:45pm after leaving the A1079 near the junction with the B1247 The Balk. The driver, a 29-year-old man, was taken to hospital. Hull Live contacted the nearby Yorkway Motel and a member of staff said the car had struck one of the buildings on the opposite side of the road. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
