Humberside Police remained at the scene of the crash at the junction of Spring Bank and Princes Avenue during rush hour some seven hours after the crash. Officers say a car hit a cyclist just before 1am on Thursday, October 31, causing serious injuries. The man was taken to hospital for treatment and is now fighting for his life. Drivers reported the road still being closed at about 6.30am today, with a police cordon in place and officers were “everywhere”. It looks to be a collision between a car and a cyclist. “The car was in the middle of the road. The junction was all cordoned off with tape.” Humberside Police were on the scene until around 7.15am. A spokesman for the force said they were appealing for people to come forward with any information.
