Man suffers ‘serious injuries’ in collision on Anlaby Road
A 38-year-old man was injured when a car was involved in a collision with a taxi in Hull on Sunday afternoon. The crash happened in Anlaby Road at around 4.30pm. Humberside Police closed the road to traffic from Wilberforce Street to Park Street while Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Humberside Fire and Rescue worked at the scene. The fire service rescued a man from a taxi by removing the door which had become damaged in the crash, as reported in its incident log. It said two people were treated for injuries at the scene.
