Work to resurface the Humber Bridge continues today (Sunday) after it caused severe delays for motorists crossing from both banks yesterday. Drivers reported delays of over an hour trying to cross the bridge at its worst point on Saturday following a temporary contraflow system to allow the work to be carried out. The system was put in place on Friday evening with resurfacing being carried out through the weekend until 3am tomorrow morning.
