More than a month of improvement works to start on…
A series of closures will be in place during more than a month of works on a west Hull road. Reconstruction and resurfacing works are being prepared across a section of Derringham Street. Hull City Council says the scheme will improve sections of the road from Morton Street to Spring Bank and “ensure a safer skid-resistant surface”. The work will take place from Monday, February 24 until Sunday, March 30 and will involve three phases to minimise disruption. Sections of the road will be fully closed during each phase which are as follows: 1 – February 24 to March 9: Spring Bank junction to the northern gate of Jackson's Bakery 2 – March 10 to March 16: Junction at Morton Street 3 –
