Motorcyclist, 74, suffers life-threatening injuries in Humber Bridge crash
A 74-year-old man has suffered life-threatening injuries, after a motorbike and lorry crashed on the Humber Bridge yesterday. Emergency services attended the incident at 2.15pm on Friday (June 16) and a full closure of the bridge was put in place. The southbound carriageway reopened shortly afterwards but the northbound carriageway remained closed for most of the evening. The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital for treatment on his injuries, where he remains at this time. Humberside Police is now appealing for information from the public.
