Motorcyclist seriously injured in suspected hit and run in Bridlington-…

A motorcyclist has been seriously in a suspected hit and run in Bridlington this afternoon. Emergency services are at the scene in Queensgate, near to the junction with St John's Road, after a two-vehicle crash took place at around 2.40pm on Thursday, January 26. It was reported that the crash involved a motorcycle and a black Land Rover, and the car left the scene. The motorcyclist has since been taken to hospital, while witnesses say the bike has been severely damaged. The road remains closed at this time with motorists advised to avoid the area. It was reported that a black Land Rover and a motorcycle were in collision near to the junction of St John’s Road. “It is believed the Land Rover left the scene. The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital for treatment on serious injuries. “The road has been closed whilst emergency services carry out their duties.
