Motorcyclists riding on footpaths and debris in the road were among the causes of the 30 near misses recorded on the Humber Bridge since June, according to a report. The Humber Bridge Board's summary of the latest near misses stated that 12 of the incidents were caused by poor driver behaviour including reversing and u-turns at the toll booths. The report stated there has been no recordable accidents since June and officials continue to ensure health, safety and welfare is monitored at the Humber Bridge.
