MP writes to council leader to express concerns over Drypool…
The MP for East Hull has written to the leader of Hull City Council regarding the planned repair works to Drypool Bridge. In January, a council report revealed plans for up to six-months of repair works on the bridge following a routine inspection in April 2024 which found that parts of the structure had “quickly deteriorated.” The council's cabinet has since appointed Esh Construction Limited to undertake the works which are expected to cost around £8 million and take place between April and October this year.
