Many more drivers were banned from the roads by magistrates in Hull last week. Motorists caught driving under the influence of drink or drugs, a man who failed to provide a specimen of breath and proceeded to assault a police constable and a driver whose car had insufficient transmission of light through the glass are among the latest people to be sentenced for driving offences. Here are seven driving offenders from across Hull and East Yorkshire who have appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court in recent days. She was banned from driving for one year and ordered to pay a £100 fine, an £80 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. Ricky Stacey, 40, of Jameson Road, Bridlington pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine and cannabis. He was given a one-year suspended sentence order with the requirement to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and banned from driving for 30 months.
