National Express launches new Hull to London service

Coach operator National Express has announced a new Hull to London service, starting this week. The 451 service will link Hull with London Victoria coach station, the route incorporating a number of key towns and cities including Scunthorpe and Nottingham. Locally, there will be stops at Darley’s roundabout, Hessle, and the Humber Bridge (south side), after the departure point at Hull Paragon Interchange. The Monday to Sunday service, which launches on Friday, April 28, will see a daily coach departure from Hull at 7.05am, arriving at London Victoria at 1.30pm. The route will take in Scunthorpe bus station for travellers from the south bank, at 7.50am. Services may vary over bank holidays. The new 451 service forms part of a significant investment by National Express to grow its national scheduled coach network, which includes 15 new routes and takes its capacity up to 11,000 journeys across the country each week.
