New schedule for A63 Castle Street closures as ‘good progress’…

Planned overnight closures on the A63 in Hull this week have been called off due to “good progress” on the Castle Street project though more are being lined up in April and May. A “significant milestone” was recently reached on the city centre road upgrade scheme when more than 1,000 cubic metres of concrete was poured during a full weekend closure earlier this month. National Highways now says there has been “good progress on the central reserve works on the A63 main carriageway” meaning planned overnight closures between Monday, March 24 and Friday, March 28 are “no longer required”.
