New Starbucks drive-thru planned for Hull Bridge Road near Beverley
A new Starbucks drive-thru café is being planned on a busy East Yorkshire road. If approved, it would be built off the A1035 Hull Bridge Road, between Tickton and Beverley. The chain has a coffee shop in Flemingate, Beverley, but the applicants argue that, by its nature, a drive-thru venue would not draw trade away from the town centre. Plans submitted to East Riding Council show that the drive-thru would be situated beyond the Swinemoor Lane roundabout, close to the Cherry Lane Garden Centre and a new housing development.
