North Bridge in Hull blocked by emergency services

Emergency services are currently dealing with an accident on a Hull bridge. Police, fire and ambulance crews are currently in attendance at North Bridge after reports of an accident at around 6.25pm Friday evening (December 4). One passerby says that the road is currently blocked in both directions. Posting on Hull Live’s Traffic and Travel Facebook page she said: “North Bridge is blocked in both directions. Two fire engines are currently at the scene where it is believed one vehicle has been involved in an accident. A spokesperson for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said: “We have got two fire engines there and our rescue support unit are also in attendance. “One vehicle is involved. We got the call in from the police at 6.25pm. Traffic management system Inrix says the road has been closed since 6.30pm but traffic is coping well. It says: “North Bridge in both directions closed due to accident between George Street and Great Union Street. “Traffic is coping well.
