Number 10 bus taken out of service and deep cleaned…

Stagecoach has issued a statement after a Hull dad reported a woman “weeing” on the top deck of a Bransholme bus last week. Michael, a regular passenger of the number 10 bus to Bransholme, recorded grim footage of liquid trickling all over the floor, after two women hurried down the stairs of the bus laughing on Thursday evening. He claims he heard one of them exclaim they needed the toilet, before he then felt his shoes get wet. The disgusting incident was confirmed today by Stagecoach, who said the bus was put out of service to be cleaned. The bus company thanked the vigilant passenger for reporting the anti-social behaviour. Read more: E-scooter in serious collision with cyclist in Hull – do you know him? A spokesperson from Stagecoach East Midlands said: “We are aware of an incident on one of our buses to Bransholme last week. We can confirm that the driver reported this immediately to the control team, and was instructed to drop off all passengers onboard the bus so that the vehicle could be taken out of service and returned to the depot for cleaning. “We apologise for any inconvenience this caused, and want to thank our passengers for staying vigilant and reporting any concerns and antisocial behaviour to us immediately.” Michael had got on the Stagecoach bus at the Stoneferry Road stop on Thursday. He went upstairs and saw two women, aged around about 40, chatting loudly and playing music. He said: “It was disgusting. They were being so loud and one of them said they needed a p*** and had to get off the bus. They started loudly laughing after that, and went downstairs. “They had obviously done a wee at the back because it trickled to the front of the bus and soaked the soles of my shoes. The women clearly thought it was funny. “I went downstairs to report it, but they’d already got off before me and the driver wasn’t too interested. They need to check CCTV. “It’s so unhygienic and it’s not something I want to see when I get on public transport. I’m glad my little daughter wasn’t with me at the time.” Read next: Dangerous driver cries as she is jailed for killing motorcyclist just days before his wedding ‘Dangerous’ sex offender should never be released say victims Families of Hall Road crash victims release new photos as police reveal details of potential key witness in red car Mum and baby approached by man in frightening incident on Orchard Park Get the latest Hull Live court news direct by email Video LoadingVideo UnavailableClick to playTap to playThe video will auto-play soon8CancelPlay now
