Overnight road closure announced for roundabout resurfacing works
Essential carriageway resurfacing works are set to begin next month, Hull City Council have announced. Taking place on the roundabout connecting Brighton Street, Witty Street and Freightliner Road, the scheme will aim to renew the failed area of the carriageway. This will ensure the highway provides a safe and even surface for traffic with adequate grip and skid resistance, the council says. Works will start on Friday, May 2 and last four nights to complete – weather permitting.
