Overnight road closures as work on new Brough roundabout continues
Drivers are being warned of two initial overnight road closures as part of the work to build a new roundabout in Brough. These closures, scheduled for August and September, are required to connect arms on the project aimed at easing congestion at a busy junction in the town. Work on the £4.7m A63 /Welton Road Brough Junction Scheme kicked off in July last year, with the roundabout's completion anticipated for November. The first set of overnight closures will affect Welton Road near the worksite over two nights on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 August (from 7pm to 6am), enabling the contractor to link both the Welton Road arms of the new roundabout.
