A 20-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after a car smashed into a Yorkshire home. During the early hours of Thursday morning, a teenager from Driffield drove a car into the living room. According to North Yorkshire Police (NYP), the man was riding as a passenger in a red, five-door Ford Fiesta when it crashed through a fence and into a house in Thornton Lane, High Marishes. The living room of the home was completely demolished as a result of the smash. Thankfully, the owners of the property were in bed at the time and managed to get to safety before alerting the emergency services. NYP say the passenger in the Fiesta, a 20-year-old man from the area, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. His condition has been described as 'critical.' The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man from the East Riding of Yorkshire, was arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been released under investigation. The force is now calling for
