A person has been hit by a train close to the Spring Bank West level crossing, on the side of Walton Street. The incident is thought to have happened around 12 noon and emergency services have rushed to the scene. The circumstances of the incident have not yet been revealed. Services by Northern Trains between Hull and Bridlington have now been cancelled. The company confirmed in a tweet that emergency services are dealing with an incident between Hull and Bridlington, which has caused the line is blocked.
