A person has been injured following a morning car crash outside a school in Cottingham on Monday morning. An eyewitness said the accident happened near Cottingham High School and Sixth Form College and involved a Honda Jazz car. Yorkshire Ambulance Service was called to the scene just before 9am. In a statement police said, “We responded to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Harland Way in Cottingham at 8.55am today. “The pedestrian is not thought to be seriously hurt but has been taken for medical treatment. A pedestrian was injured in the accident on Harland Road in Cottingham on Monday morning.
