Police issue statement as A63 Daltry Street flyover reopens after crash

Humberside Police initially Tweeted to say emergency services were in attendance at a “serious road traffic collision” on the A63, Clive Sullivan Way, on the flyover near to Smith and Nephew and said it was closed. They said traffic was being diverted via the slip road that runs underneath. But a spokeswoman for Humberside Police has now confirmed the crash was not serious. She said it did not look like the road would be closed for long when she spoke to Hull Live and said someone had been taken to hospital for a check-up for what is thought to be minor injuries.
