Police shut Spring Bank West after multiple car crash -…

A crash has closed Spring Bank West leading to long tailbacks this evening. Humberside Police have closed off the westbound carriageway and officers are filtering traffic down Walton Street due to the collision at 6.20pm. A witness said: “It looks like there were multiple cars piled up near the train line.” Traffic in both directions on Spring Bank West has been affected. An Inrix update states: “Spring Bank West in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to accident at Walton Street.” It is currently not known if anyone has been injured but Humberside Police has asked drivers to avoid the area. But I saw a car on the middle island of the junction and two other cars all smashed and airbags inflated.
