Police swarm Hull Road after early morning collision

Police have swarmed a busy road on the outskirts of Hull following a crash. Humberside Police officers were called to Hull Road in Cottingham at around 7.30am this morning following reports of a road traffic collision. Ambulance crews also attended the scene and drivers have been advised to avoid the area. Follow live updates here. The road is currently closed in both directions from the junction at Inglemire Lane towards the roundabout for Thwaites Street.
