A pothole in north Hull that a driver described as “about a foot deep” will be fixed on Monday, the Council has said. Andy Bailey wanted to warn other people about the danger in Holwell Road which he said could pose a risk to drivers. “You can see the metal bits inside,” he added. He added: “Buses go over it all the time and they can't swerve to miss it.” Andy reported the pothole last week and noticed on Thursday that it had been patched, but he didn't think it would last long. There are plans for a more permanent fix to be applied on Monday which will involve traffic control due to the complexity of the job, with the damaged road materials being completely replaced.
