Public evacuated after car smashes into gas pipeline in Argyle Street

Firefighters responding to a serious crash in Argyle Street on Friday afternoon have ordered an evacuation after the collision damaged a gas pipeline. The road was closed on Friday afternoon at around 1.30pm following the crash on a bridge near Hull Royal Infirmary. Follow live updates on the road traffic incident here.
