‘Queues of traffic’ on Humber Bridge following crash in Hessle
Queues of traffic have been reported on the Humber Bridge this morning following a crash in Hessle. At around 7am, a crash happened on Heads Lane in Hessle. The road has now cleared, but traffic is still queuing on the Humber Bridge. An update on the traffic management website Inrix reads: “Queueing traffic on A15 Humber Bridge Northbound in to Hull. Travel time is 15 minutes.” Humberside Police has been contacted for comment. 10:39 Lauren Davidson Humberside Police statement A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were in attendance on Heads Lane in Hessle, near to the junction at Swanland Road, following reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision at around 6.45am this morning, Tuesday 28 January. “Two people were taken to hospital to be checked over for injuries.” Share 09:38 Lauren Davidson Heads Lane cleared and ‘traffic returned to normal’ According to an update on Inrix, Heads Lane has cleared and traffic has now returned to normal – but queues are still being reported on the Humber Bridge.
