Hundreds of train passengers at Hull's Paragon Station were faced with cancellations and delays to their journeys on Saturday morning. Due to a signalling fault on the line between Hull and Brough, all services running in and out of Hull were affected, with the disruption lasting throughout the morning until around 1pm on Saturday afternoon. One “annoyed” rail user at Paragon Station told Hull Live that there were “scores of confused people” waiting outside the ticket barrier, which had been closed by staff due to the cancellation and delays of the services.
