Road closures announced for A63 North Cave to South Cave resurfacing work

The A63 carriageway between North Cave and South Cave will soon undergo important resurfacing work, resulting in road closures and longer journey times. Resurfacing will begin on Monday, November 14, and is hoped to be completed in December. Work will be carried out in both directions but not at the same time. To carry out the work safely, the westbound carriageway will firstly be closed overnight (8pm to 6am) Monday to Friday for approximately three weeks. Due to essential maintenance work taking place on Ouse Bridge, National Highways plans to return to complete the eastbound carriageway in the new year.
