Police closed Spring Bank after a crash near Princes Avenue late on Wednesday night. A police patrol car was parked across the street preventing traffic from passing the scene. Pictures showed two recovery trucks at the scene, with one car with a badly damaged front on the back of one of them. Posting on Twitter at around 10pm on Wednesday night, a spokesperson for Humberside Police described the scene as being in Spring Bank West, however it is believed the crash actually happened on the other side of Princes Avenue in Spring Bank. They said: “Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Spring Bank West. “The road is currently closed between Princes Avenue and Stanley Street.” You can follow any updates on this breaking incident in the blog below.
