Stagecoach announce extra bus services for Hull Fair
Stagecoach East Midlands has announced plans to provide additional bus services for the upcoming Hull Fair, one of Europe's largest and oldest travelling fun fairs. The extra services will allow more people to travel to the popular event, which takes place from Friday October 4 2024 to Saturday October 12 2024 at Walton Street car park next to West Park. The regional bus operator also plans to introduce extra journeys on the Service 2 from the Interchange to the Fair to accommodate increased demand, as well as additional bus services for Kingswood, Bransholme and East Hull from the Fair to make getting home easier for residents. To make travelling across the city easier, especially for those visiting from outside, Park and Ride services will be provided to Anlaby Road, near the fair's site, from both the Humber Bridge Car Park and Priory Park and Ride site on the A63. Additionally, a new Hull Fair discounted DayRider ticket costing just £4 per person will be introduced. This ticket will cover all journeys made on Stagecoach Hull's local services and the park and ride services to and from the fair for the day.
